Is it possible to search by event category AND location simultaneously?

I already have event filtering by category, but I want to be able to show events for a specific category at a specific location or locations. How do I do this?

Likewise, what if a user wants to see all events from two categories at the same time?

You can try to create a menu item to link to upcoming events timeline layout menu option for example.

In the menu options, you can choose categories/locations you want and only events from these categories/locations will be displayed

But Yes, this needs to be determined/setup in each menu item

Hmmm. Would be better if you consider a feature addition to allow people to add multiple filters to their own search preferences. Am a bit surprised it is not here already.
