Problem with registrants management and upcoming events hiding completed

Hello, I have a situation that I do not know how to address

I need the owners of an event to be able to check in from the frontend
For this I enabled the registrants management menu with their respective permissions.

So far so good.

In a frontend module where I use Upcomings events I require that the component settings be that it does not show events when they are completed, which means that when they are completed it passes them to unpublished mode.

The problem is that from registrants management (front end) event owners do not see that events in the dropdown menu (although the option Hide Unpublished Events From Events Dropdown is = NO)

So my problem is that I need that from the front end in registrants management the owners can look for the event in the dropdown menu

Any solution how to do it?

Strictly speaking my need is for owners to be able to check in from the frontend (without using QRcode) at the same time that the upcoming events module does not show events that are complete

Thanks for reminding me about the config option. I just added a fix for that. Please login to your account, access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade it to your site and the error will be gone

Thanks for the prompt reply, I downloaded the update, installed it but the problem still remains.
Unpublished event does not appear in the dropdown menu
I clicked fix database schema and cleared the cache ..
Are there any other settings that I should adjust after the update?
