Show First Group Member Name but Disallow Edit in Registration Process was created by Jim Plasker
Hi Tuan--
I know we can hide the name of the first group member. However, is it possible to show the first group member first/last name but disallow editing of those fields. We restrict event registration to those who are vetted and have an account on our system. Each "member" is allowed to purchase a ticket for a guest; however, the member is not allowed to purchase tickets to an event they do not plan to attend.
The guest information goes in the group member 2 field, but how to require that group member 1 is the actual logged in member while still showing that name on the form? We collect additional details for both members, so hiding/not having group member 1 ancillary information collected in the registration process is not an option.
Thanks--
Jim

Hi Jim
To be honest, I don't know if there is a solution for that problem. Maybe you can edit the event, set Registration Access to Registered?
In this case, the person who performs registration will have to login while registering? Maybe it helps solving (at least part of the issue) ?
