HTML Editor fail in Safari was created by lkende
In both the configuration page and the event creation, the HTML editor (TinyMCE that comes loaded in Joomla 1.5.20) fail in Safari on my Windows 7 PC and on my client's Macintosh.
On both, there is no text displayed in the editor if it exists (like in the email templates on the configuration) and the user cannot actually put the cursor in the box and type.
I am looking into it so I can get this working for my client. I have Safari 4.0.5 on my windows machine which I am testing. Will let you know what I find, but wanted to bring this to your attention.
Thanks,
Luke

Found out that Safari developer tool show "f.document [undefined] is not an object". Experimented for a little with what might cause this... I suspect it may have a conflict with the javascript for the tabs, but don't know for sure.
Instead of spending too long on this, I installed JCE Editor and all works fine now.
Thanks.

Hi
This issue only happens on Joomla 1.5 (because of a Javascript conflict between tab and editor - both from Joomla core). If your Joomla version is >= 1.5.20, the solution will be go to Extensions -> Plugins manager, find the system - mootools upgrade plugin and publish it .
Regards,
Tuan
