Send E-Mail to Joomla Group

I am trying to find the easiest way to do this and it may already be a feature (I'm not sure).

We use Events Booking for an internal calendar for volunteers as we are a non-profit. One the calendar, we publish a variety of volunteer events and the calendar is seen only by registered volunteers. I'm working on a way to notify all users under the "Volunteer" Joomla group to receive a notification whenever a new event is added. Is this possible currently and if not, thoughts on doing something like this?

Events Booking, unfortunately, does not support this feature. I think you can try look at a newsletter extension like ACYMailing. It should provide a feature to allow sending newsletter to all users from selected user group

So you can use that extension to send email to the user groups you want when there is a new event posted
