Combining Event Categories on One Page was created by ChessNYC
Hello,
I'm trying to have multiple event categories show up on the same timeline layout, but I can't find where I can get this done. My thought would have been to go through the menu and assign a second category to the menu, but having done so, I still only have the parent category showing up on the list. Any ideas?
Thanks

Just want to make it clear: Do you want to have events from multiple categories being shown on that page?
Or you want to show the categories there?

I want to have events from multiple event categories show up on the same timeline layout list. So I want to be able to assign multiple categories to a menu, or to assign a category and also have events from its subcategories show up.

Hello
Yes. It's possible. Edit the menu item, look at Options tab, you will see Categories parameter which allow you to choose categories you want to display events from.
Please try to configure it and let us know if you have any other questions

Hi Tuan, thanks. I had tried that, but it still only lists the category selected on Details/Select Category, where it only allows to select one category. Adding the second one on Options/Categories does not have it show up on the website, still showing only the events from the first one. Please let me know.

That's strange to me. For this, please submit a support ticket sending us:
- Super admin account
- Link to the page
- Tell us a sample event which should be displayed on the page but it is not at the moment
I will check to see what's wrong and configure it properly for you
