Is it possible to add alt-text to image added with the image-field? was created by Timo Pohjosaho
Hi,
If the image has been added with events JCE-editor, I can add alt-text to images via the editor. But there is a separate Image-field on Edit Event -page that doesn't appear to have this option. I want our users to use the Image-field because it also does this:
- sets image to predefined width
- sets image to be clickable -> Image opens to a nice lightbox
- sets correct image position
All of the above can be done with JCE-editor but it would be less of a hassle to add them via the image-field.
I have two important reasons to add the alt-texts:
1. Visually impaired people need those alt-texts.
2. According to Finnish and EU law, they must be added.

Hello Timo
At the moment, it's not supported. Honestly, in the last few years, no one has requested for something like this
I will add this feature to my todo list and will update you when it's implemented and ready to use
Regards,
Tuan
