Calculation of fees and discounts / coupons

Hi folks,
just wanted to know if the basic calculation of all dependend items to a price of an event are in net or in gross or depend on the settings within the configuration? So as i would imagine prices depend and have to be entered with vat or without vat based on the configuration settings but what about discount and fee options?
I could not find an answer on that in the documentation.

It's complicated topic. So better configure the system to allow entering price without VAT.

Then coupon, discount..., will also be entered without VAT

Is there anyway of getting the discount code to operate in a manner that allows for a fixed discount per product rather than as an overall discount on the final amount?

As the question of Alan was one of mine too i would like to ask if there is any answer to this?
For my understanding Tuan - the question of Alan is e.g.: if i have an event that has additional options like its lenght - say normaly it's base length is 4 hours and the participant can book a 6 or 8 hour timeslot as well. So to realize this it would need a custom field with "Lenght" 6h and 8h. This would cost an amount of +20$ and +35$. So the question is if there is a way to give a discount/coupon that reduces just these +20$ and +35$ but not on the total amount of the booking in complete. So if you think this way and have more than one options to an event with these custom fields it would be great to be able to link an coupon just to several fields with options.

Sorry Carsten but it's complicated to allow choosing the options (basically, custom fee fields option) to be discounted by using coupon code

So honestly, that's something we could not implement support for in the extension
