Form field compiled by string was created by Step
Hello everybody I'd like to know if someone think could be possibile to precompile some registration's form data passing some strings by a link (just name and email).
I don't care that a skilled user could change the string, in any case there will be a backend check on the officially invited guests...
I'd like to setup e free event only for specifically invited guests, so I would like to make possible that an invited just click on a link (for example the link to the event registration's page received by mail and could be able only to accept the invitation sending the form, so that the interested field (name and email) are not changeable and already pre compiled (setting readonly="true" on the field).
I was guessing about the use of placeholder or tags to be used inside the field's default value.

One more question: checking in the guests would is possible to view directly a field manually edited and not public viewable directly on the confirmation's check in page? (i.e the number of the assigned seat)

Thank you in advance!

Hello

To pass data for the field, in the link to registration form, you can use the syntax

domain.com/registration-form-link?first_...=Tuan&last_name=Pham Ngoc&email=tuanpn@joomdonation.com and so on....

For your other question, I don't really understand. Could you please explain more details about it?

Thank you for the feedback, I tried as suggested but is not working.
Here the example link customized as you told: hospitality.federugby.it/eventi/ita-sco-...npn@joomdonation.com

For the other question I solved, but there is another issue: th QR code into the ticket is not working, if I scan it I don't have a link but a numeric code. Any suggestion?

Hello

1. The the pre-fill form fields, could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of the site and link to that I can ask my developer to check to see why it does not work and get it sorted?

2. For the QRCODE, if you want to scan the ticket return a link to checkin registrants, please use [QRCODE] instead of [TICKET_QRCODE] tag and it should be fine

Regards,

Tuan
