I've got this exact same problem - page heading and intro text not displaying. What is the resolution for this issue?

It doesn't look like this issue has been resolved as I cannot get text to display either. Is this being worked on?

The intro text does work. Please note that:

- You need to enter a real message there. A too short message like Test won't be displayed. It should have at least few words.

- If you choose a category in the menu item parameter, the description of that category will be displayed instead of the intro text

Could you please check that and let us know if you need more assist?

Wow! I would never have figured that out. Seems pretty obtuse!

1) Entering more text did not work
2a) I had to remove the category in the Details tab and then it did work
2b) I had to put the category back in the Options tab & it still works
