Submit recurring events on front end

Am I correct in concluding that it is not possible for users to submit recurring events on the front end?

Users can still submit recurring events in the frontend of your site. However, when you create menu item to allow submitting event, please use Submit Event menu option instead of Submit Event - Simple Layout menu option
