Registrant List and privacy was created by gojyuan
Hi Tuan,
In the past, I used to display the registrant list for all of our workshops. We had a privacy concern so I changed the settings so that it was not displayed. I have just received an email from a person who attended a workshop 6 years ago. When people search her name ( via google ) she comes up in a registrant list. She has asked me to remove her name.
I looked at my settings and I had set the Show List of Registrants to NO. However in the Permissions Configuration, Public access was set to Allowed. I changed this to Deny ( also inherited as this is my default setting ).
When I search again, a reference is shown showing her name and our business name indicating she had attended ( including the other people on the list as well ). The URL specifies the event name.../registrants-list?tmpl=component. The details are not displayed.
Is there a way that this list is not generated at all as it is a big issue for us regarding privacy.
Much appreciated.
Regards
Linda

Hi Linda
When you access to that URL, do you see the list of registrants still being displayed? If it's still being displayed, that's a bug in the extension and we will have to fix it
If it's not being displayed but still searchable, I'm afraid of we don't have solution
Regards,
Tuan
