Event mini calendar and upcoming events not showing

I have published and activated evets and does not show. PLease advice

There must be something wrong with the event setup. Please submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account of your site
- Link to the page which the modules are being displayed

We are going to check to see what's wrong and get it sorted

Can you post the results of what you changed in configuration to solve this issue please. I'm having the same problem.
