Custom inventory on registration was created by Damian Witham
When registering for an event I need to offer an extra option that has only a certain amount available, so when the items have run out, it is no longer available and the user is told so.
For example.
When registering the user needs to select from the following options
1. RED
2. BLUE
3. GREEN
I have only 50 of each colour. So they must choose another colour if it is empty.
The different colours also represent a different price value they must pay.

Please read documentation at eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...ds/custom-fee-fields and eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...ustom-field-quantity

Thank you I'm trying this now. Is there a way to show on the front end to the user the amount left that is available?

Thank you, I have a problem with that.
The field that i need to show the units available is also a field that i need to add a fee to.
See this:
www.dropbox.com/s/bwed5vspai9k529/field-fee-quantity.png?dl=0
You see I need users to select a number of this item which will multiply the fee, but also reduce the amount available.
Am I stuck, or can you work out a way to do this. Or even customise code.

Do you want login details or just this url?
richmondracecourse.com.au/exhibitor-registration
I have a few questions that I am trying to work through.
1. Bull Pens. People can choose 1, 2 or 3 and they are $300 each. But obviously will run out of stock. So it would be good to have the quanity available like i have in the sites.
2. Sites. Under Site Requirements. People can book a site and it will reduce the quantity. I have 4 different sized sites each has a certain amount available. This is working fine. BUT I need to have an option for if they want 2 sites. This is what I can't work out. I currently have a second field for the optional second site, but this is a seperate quantity in the database. Can you think of a way to make it reduce the original site quantity?

Hello Damian
1. Unfortunately, there is no quantity limit for a text field. If you really need it, customization to the code will be needed. However, it's not something easy and I am afraid of it will cost you about 80$ or event 100$ (need to think about it carefully before giving final quotation)
2. Sadly, it's difficult and I could not see any solution for handling it

OK, Number 2. let's forget. I'll work it out without this option.
Number 1. It's either a text field that can show quantity, or another type of field that accepts numbers and can multiply a fee based on the number selected. Have a think and let me know if it can be done. I can pay for the customisation.

Hello Damian
For Number 1, why don't you just use custom fee field (List field type). See documentation here eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...wn-custom-field-type
