Possible to map to Joomla Custom fields?

Is it possible to do field mapping with Joomla's built-in custom fields? I see a plugin that will allow mapping to Joomla's "User - Profile" plugin, but that isn't what I need. I need to be able to do field mapping with Joomla's built-in custom fields.

Yes, it's possible. That same plugin allow you to map both custom fields from user profile plugin and also Joomla user custom fields
