change mouse over color

I have a blue backgound and white text so I am having color issues. Should I change the style.css or the _style.css file? and How do I change or erase the mouse over change in color?

Hi Tuan. That is a very kind offer but I am still working in localhost. I will then just list the pages that need a background change if you can tell me the line of the style.css file for
category list layout
category category layout

I need some others but will try to figure them out myself after I fix these.

PS what is the difference between the the style.css and _style.css file. the second is smaller in size.

Can I just turn off all the mouse over color change for the whole site?
