Saving Event Custom Fields was created by Gilbert Armour
I can edit the XML shown in Configuration, Event Custom Fields. However, clicking on Save restores the original code and loses my changes. No error messages are shown.

Look like there is permission issue with the file. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can check and correct it
