paypal pro plugin problem

Hello,

I just bought the paypal pro payment but I am not happy with it,

I expected that the user should enter the detail of the credit card after the confirmation and not already at the beginning of the form.

because I need to have a secure data connection and it should be done just after the user confirms all his datas,


how can I get my money back?

Do you have SSL certificate on your site ? If you have SSL certificate, the data will be secured .

I know that there are many customers using EB Paypal Pro plugin and none of them have any problem with it. If you have SSL, then it is secure !

From technical point of view, I don't see any difference between enter creditcard information on the registration form and on the confirmation page. It is logical that it is entered on registration form, then there is a confirmation page for users to review the information before actually process payment .

I have ssl but I want to have the data of the credit card datas input after the user inputs his personal data and confirms it,

and beside that when I activate the ssl option in the confirguration panel of EB it just redirects me to the secure link after the user inputs the credit cards details.

From a general point of view, the user when gives the credit card details may think that the confirmation of the datas is like the final payment and usually users wants to have a chance to check again all the data and after give the details of the payment.

If you look at all popular shopping cart extension like Virtuemart, for example, users will need to enter credit card information on the form, then there is a confirmation page after that. So EB Paypal Pro works in a normal way, lilke other extensions. I (and other customers) have no problem with the way it works !

Regarding the SSL , I think you make a menu item to link to Event Booking so that users can access it ? If yes, then you can simply mark SSL enabled to On and the problem will be solved (please look at the attached image) .

1. Let me know your site URL .

2. Uninstall the paypal pro payment plugin (don't use it on your site) .

I will check your message, then refund your money as the first thing on tomorrow (although It is not fair for me and I believe that no-one-except me accept to refund money in this case) .
