filter out child events was created by Senioren Beuningen
In the eventlist I have a lot of courses with 15 lessons or more wich are easy to make with "Recuring events". But after that I have a huge list of events, parents and children.
Furthermore, when making a menu-item with "Event Detail" and selecting an Event, you see this complete list with only the title of the event. I can not specificly select the parent event. And that is needed otherwise the complete information of the event isn't shown in the "Event Detail" on the site.
It would be nice if there is a posibility to filter out the chidren in this list.
Is there a way to filter the child events out?
And if not, would that be something for the "Future Wish list".
Regards
Douwe

Hello Douwe
Please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Show children events date under parent events config option to Yes
Then check it again. The system should only show parent events in the list and if you click on a parent event, you will see all children events under it and can register for the child event you want
Please try that and let us know if it works

Hi Douwe
Exactly what does not work? The events list page still display both parent and children events?
Could you please send us the link to that page so that we can check it?

It's not a problem in the frontend but in the backend. I want to filter out the child-events in the list when I open the Event manager. Also when selecting an Event in "Event detail".
Now when "Show children events date under parent events config option" is set to Yes I find all the child events displayed in the frontend, end that's not what I want. So that should be set to No. See nas6641.myqnapcloud.com:8081/VvSB/senior...ngels-voor-beginners
I send you attachements from the backend
Hope this explanation is clear.

Hi Douwe
Currently, we don't have an option to allow filter out children events from backend events management
However, I think this could be useful option, so I will consider supporting it in future releases of the extension

OK, thank you Tuan. For the time being I'll use sorting the events on "Event type" wich makes selecting the parent event easier.
