Paypal payment updated wrong customer! Settings problem?

Hi Tuan,

While one customer was updating his profile, another one renewed his subscription through PayPal.
The first customer got a renewed subscription by 1 year; and the system sent me (the administrator) and him a confirmation!
The paying customer was not updated.

How is this possible? Maybe I set something wrong in PayPal:
- own return url for successful payment
- IPN enabled and the Notification URL is set to the site root
- in Membership Pro: Log IPN messages set to yes (where are these stored?)

Is any of these wrong and causes the problem?
And what are the proper settings for these as the documentation is not clear about this!

Hi Eric

There must be something special on your site causing this error. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super admin account of the site
2. Username of the customer paid for renewal but their subscription is not renewed
3. Username of the customer did not make payment but their subscription still renewed

I will then check to see what's wrong and get it sorted
