Error with "Hide Past Events"?

Hello,

we have on one project a problem with showing past events on Categories-Events-List.
The Option "Hide Past Events" is set to "No" but there is no output at this time and we have found no reason. At an other project this option works fine.
We have set the templates to default – there was no problem.

Is there a workaround to find the problem? What could the reasons?
