Events search results layout was created by Roger Clarke
Hi,
I'd like to use the timeline layout across my website but I'm finding that clicking on a city name in the search by city module displays the search results screen in a table view. Is there a way to get the search results in a timeline layout?
I have the default menu item set to a timeline layout item and it is routing to that menu item but appending /search-result
Am I missing a setting somewhere?
Thanks,
Roger

Hi Roger
There will be few extra setup needed to have it works like that:
1. Create a hidden menu item to link to Search events result - Timeline layout menu option of Events Booking.
2. Edit the Events Booking - Events By City module, you will see a parameter called Itemid. Enter ID of the menu item which you created above into the parameter and it should work fine
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
That would be a great solution, but I can't see a menu option for Search events result - Timeline layout in the menu item types list under Events Booking?
Regards,
Roger

Hi Roger
Could you please delete the file components/com_eventbooking/view/search/metadata.xml and check it again?
