New features in Event Booking 1.3.0 was created by Tuan Pham Ngoc
Hi all !
After days for working hard, I am finally ready to release version 1.3.0 . In this version, there are many new nice improvements added, they are :
1. Multiple booking feature: If you turn this feature on, Event Booking will work like a shopping cart system. Users are able to register for serveral events within one checkout. This is probably the biggest change in this version .
2. Improve custom fields feature: Now, custom fields can be assigned to multiple events or to all events (before, you can only assign custom field to individual event or all events .
3. Added Captcha support : You can now add captcha security image to registration for to prevent spam on event registration.
4. Prevent duplicate registration : If you turn on this option, users won't be able to register for the same event twice .
5. Event Detail content plugin: This plugin can be used to show event detail within a Joomla article .
6. Event registration plugin : This plugin can be used to display registration form of an event within Joomla article. It is usefull incase you want to display description of an event, then registration form right after it.
7. Show list of registrants for an event to public users in the front-end.
8. Jomsocial activities stream plugin to add registration information to Jomsocial activities stream (for example, User A registered for Event B...).
9. Fixed an issue with the time of events in recurring events.
I planed to release the plugin in about 8 hours from now (need to update some tutorial documents, sending newsletter to customers about this new release...) .
Hope you are happy with my development and thanks for all your support for my development so far !
Regards,
Tuan
