Modifying registration form

I would like to get rid of all cookies in web page I am working on lately. In order to do that I can not use recaptcha as implemented currently.
So I am thinking about 2 possible solutions:

a)Load Recaptcha module only when customer confirm that cookies from Google can be delivered

b) make alternative to Recapcha - filed with security question that must be answered by visitor and additional hidden filed in a form that must be empty upon form confirmation. I saw that there are some options under custom fields, but can not find direct solution to my idea about hidden field.
Can you please point me into right direction to do this?

Unfortunately, both the options you mentioned are not supported and could not be implemented. The only solution, to me, is try to find and use a captcha plugin which does not require cookie if you want to avoid using cookie

Please check extensions.joomla.org/tags/captcha/ and try to find one which hopefully, meets your need
