Ability to set notification email per event instead of just on Configuration?

I want to set different email notifications per event - steve for event A, sue for event B. It appears that the only way to set is in Mail Settings in Configuration. Is there a different way to do this?

That's not correct. You can set it for each event if you want. Just edit the event, look at Advanced Settings tab, enter the email you want into Notification Emails setting and these emails will receive notification instead of the one in Configuration

I missed that field on Advanced Settings. It works as I want.
