Where is this string changable?

The default statement on registration form reads:

By register to this event and agreeing to the Privacy Policy you agree to this web site storing your information.


Better English:
By registering for this event, you agree to the Privacy policy and to this website storing your information.


where is this set so people will stop telling me about it?

In the backend, go to Event Booking -> Translation Management and search for "PRIVACY". Enter your new text into the appropriate field for the key "EB_AGREE_PRIVACY_POLICY_MESSAGE",

Yup -- it is
It's the first place to check for any text changes, and always do a "filter" for whatever you are looking for as there are sooooo many terms that paging through takes forever.
By default, you're on the "front-end" language, but there is also a drop down that you'll see that allows switching "back-end" as well.

Thanks James. Just want to add there are other places which you can find and change the language items/strings as well. It's under Events Booking -> Emails & Messages, these contains the message which will be displayed on registration form or email

If you want to change title of custom fields in Registration Form, Events Booking -> Custom Fields is the place you can look at and make the change

I'm stumped on another string.

This line: Please enter number of members for your group registration. Number of members need to be greater than or equal 2. You can enter detail information of these members in the next step.

What I'm looking for: Number of members need to be greater than or equal 2.
it should read: Number of members needs to be greater than or equal to 2.

I've seacrhed the translation tab for "number" "greater" "equal" and cannot find this string.
I've searched custom messages tab, and this is not appearing.
This is not a custom field.

You can go to Events Booking -> Emails & Messages, look for Number of members Form Message message item and change it to meet your need
