update error: Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting inaccessible file was created by Chun-Hsing Chang
My joomla site version is 3.9.4
and event booking version is 3.8.5

I find there is newest version for 3.9.0, so I want to update in the joomla backsite
However,there is error message

Warning
Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting inaccessible file autoload.php
Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: lib_omnipay.zip

And my plugins, modules already become 3.9.0 version
But, package is still 3.8.5

How should I update?

Hello

I remember this causes by something changes in Joomla API and this kind of error happens due to permission issue

Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin and FTP account of your site. We will try to change permissions of the file to have it installed/updated properly

but our website is in the intranet , so I can't send the super admin and FTP acoount for you.

Can you simply describe how to and what files should change permissions?

You can try to remove the folder libraries/omnipay manually, then go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install, install latest version 3.9.0 of Events Booking to see whether it's installed properly?

Hi,

I remove the folders : libraries/omnipay and libraries/osphpexcel manually.

Then it works, I can install the latest version properly.
