Total price tickets also include event price was created by Fonny
Hi,
I can't get price correct for tickets.
I've 4 ticket types (adult, children, youth, wheelchair)
Prices are calculated perfect except the event price is also calculated in the total.
Prices are €12 for event price and €12 for adult ticket.
The price for 2 adult tickets should be €24 but €36 is shown in the total.
When I put the event price at 0 I do not have the option of the tickets.
I am sure I am somewhere wrong. Just can't find it.

Hello
You need to set 0 for price of the event. Not sure why you don't have options for ticket?
Maybe you should go to Events Booking -> Configuration, make sure Reduce Registration process config option set to No, then try again?
If the error still happens, submit a support ticket sending us:
1. Super admin account of your site
2. Link to the event page
I will check to see why tickets is not available and get it sorted
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks Tuan,
Reduce Registration process set to No did the trick.
Maybe handy to include it in the documentation.

Great. Thanks for confirming. I will improve documentation or maybe handle it directly in the code to prevent this confusing in the future

I had the same issue as Fonny, and I found that setting the event price to 0 fixed the issue, but it is not ideal.
In our case we are using the component to sell entries for a surfing contest. The price for adults is $60, but juniors under age 15 are charged $40. We want the main page for the event to show the $60 price, but when the event price is set to 0, the main page shows the price as 'free':
www.pacificbeachsurfclub.com/club-events...er-longboard-classic
www.pacificbeachsurfclub.com/club-events...ividual-registration
I think most people would agree that the Ticket Types function should have some additional options:
1. As it is now it should be shown as a 'surcharge' in addition to the event price (like VIP, prime seat locations, etc.)
2. It could override the event price when they are different (this is what we need)
3. It could be set as a negative number or a discount % (this would also work for us)
I hope you can implement #2 or #3, it would probably be a big benefit for many users.
Thanks!

Hello
There is a setting called Price Text. Enter the text you want to display there (like From 60$ in your example) and that price text will be displayed for the event
Please try that and let us know if it works
