Hi

I have two types of tickets - members and non-members.

I want anyone to be able to buy tickets (up to 6) on behalf of both members or non-members.

The main purchaser needs to add the name, then select membership status of themselves and each additional person.

If they select Member for any of the 'guests', they will need to provide the membership number for each guest member to verify whether or not they have a valid membership before giving them the member's discount.

If any of the guests or main purchaser select non-member, they will not see a conditional field for the membership number.

Is this possible when working with Membership Pro and is it possible to only use the ticket selling part of Events Booking?

I have fees based on membership. It's been working for several years. Use custom fields. Set up a "yes/no" radio button field (I think) for membership, and then set up other fields as conditional on the value of "Yes". I don't know how to validate member numbers however.

I'm hoping that Events Booking can check a membership number from Membership Pro and that the two extensions can "talk to each other".

Hello David

Unfortunately, the two extensions do not "talk together" as you want at the moment. So if you need it, I am afraid of you will have to hire someone to customize code for you to add that validation

However, using Membership ID might not be reliable as Membership ID is quite easy to guess (It's a combination of a prefix + an auto increment number), so someone can easily fake the Membership Number if needed (in case they know structure of Membership number)

So for now using Custom Fee Field as Stephan suggested would be the easiest way
