Control Registration Custom Field using Event Custom Field

Is there a way I can control registration custom field using the event custom field? For example, I have created a select custom field that shows up in the registration form. The select field, called Registration Options, has 3 choices (Option A, Option B, Option C) by default. I then created several events, each with a custom checkbox event field called Options, and the choices are Option A, Option B and Option C. For Event A, I selected all 3 choices. For Event B, I only selected Option A and Option B. Now, on the registration form, I want Registration Option to show all 3 choices for Event A, but if I select Event B, I only want people to see Option A and Option B, as what I have configured for the event custom field.

This field is not needed for fee calculations.

If this is already a feature, can you please point me to the instructions on how to set this up? Otherwise, is there a way to customize the component so this will work? Maybe use a custom tag in values field that will then be replaced by values from the event custom field?

No, it's not possible to control custom fields using event custom fields. Just wonder why don't you create different custom fields and assign the field with right options to the event? That would not require customizing code and still address the issue (of course, it will require more custom fields to setup)
