Event Registratnt Mailchimp Integration Default

We have only one mailchimp list (Free plan), and I would like people to be prompted to join it whenever they sign up for any of our events if they are not already on it.

Each time I create an event, the mailchimp list is deselected by default, so I have to remember to visit that tab and select it. Is there any way to have it selected by default?
