Limit Subscription Possibility "Case Szenario" - > Question was created by Ralf
Hi,
Szenario:
I am using the Events Booking for an gym (fitness) website. Some courses are just shown as a course and everyone can take part of it without any subscription. But some courses will need aa subscription as the places are limited e.g. indoor cycling. People save their place for a bike. I opened for all course recurring events so the courses are availabe for next 5-6 years.
Problem:
Members are subscribing to their favorite courses for weeks in front - so they block the available places. They forget 2/3 weeks later to cancel the subscription and other members are not able to use the free places. To prevent this behaviour of the members i need to limit down the visibility of the courses.
E.g. Course indoor cycling is on Monday 8pm - so the member should only be possible to subcribe for upcoming course on monday one week later.
How can i manage that?
I display the course list with the upcoming-events-timeline and there i only can set the no. of events that are display on one page.
But all courses can be clicked by using the pagination.
My first idea was to set the no. to the course no. over all - like 40 and then to hide the pagination. But this is a realy messy solution as the page gets a very long scrollable page.
Is there another possiblity to display it by x-days? That i can set "next 7 days" or something like that?
Thanks for ideas or a way to solve this...
Best Ralf

Hello Ralf
We don't have a setting like that, however, I think we have options to allow handling the requirement:
1. For each event, you can choose the date duration you want it to be displayed using Publish Up and Publish Down settings. Base on that, you can determine from what date you want to show the event to user and that should address the concern
2. For each event, you can enter a Registration Start Date and registration only be available from that date. So the event is still being displayed, but not open for registration until the date you want
Choose one of the two options above, I think it should address your concern
