Hello
Unfortunately, it's not possible. At the moment, we only allow you to display events from one or all categories in mini calendar. We don't have an option to select multiple categories

I agree this would be useful. The "JEvents" component does this, in case you want to look at how they do it.

Hi Tuan,
This presents a big problem.
Is it at least possible to have children events listed in a mini calendar?

Children events should be listed. Maybe it's not being listed because you have Show children events date under parent events config option set to Yes?
Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set it to No, then check it again to see whether children events displayed?

Hi Tuan,
I have same issue, I want multiple categories displayed in mini calendar,(I switched from JEM to your comp) but even if I create child category events and in configuration I set yes or no "Show Children Events In Parent Event Detail Page" still the child events are not displayed in mini calendar

Hi Tuan, et. al.,
Has the mini calendar multi-category issue been corrected? The mini calendar becomes useless once it dumps all categories into a single category listing. I am looking to renew - have been using EB for almost 10 years - but this is a major issue.

Hello ljenish
There is a workaround which I think should work OK:
1. Create a hidden menu item to link to Monthly Calendar menu option. Select the categories you want there in the menu item parameters
2. Edit the mini calendar module which you created, there is a parameter called Itemid. Enter ID of the menu item which you just created above there
The idea is the mini calendar module will used the menu item parameter from that menu item, so it will use the selected categories in the menu to display events.... That should work
Regards,
Tuan
