Send users a notification when a new event is added

My customers want a way to know when a new event is added. less then 100 emails will ever go out at once currently its only like 30 per top level category. Is there a free way to automate this?

Events Booking does not have a way to allow emailing users when an event is added. To have it works, I think you will have to use a newsletter extension:

- Add your users to a mailing list
- Then each time there is new event added, compose a newsletter and send to these users/subscribers
