Sell coupon codes via event

Hello Tuan,

in order to sell a voucher as a christmas present on the website of our dancing club, I want to implement a couon selling feature via an event.

More precisely:

1. I want to creater a voucher event, that allows the user to enter the voucher amount (e.g. 20€).
2. When the user registers for the event an invoice is created, that has the user chosen amounnt (i.e. the amount of the voucher).
3. Once the invoice is paid a coupon code in the backend is generated.
4. The coupon code needs to be sent to the user.
5. The coupon code can be used for booking any other dancing lecture provided on our website.
6. The amount of the booked dancing lecture is reduced by the amount of the voucher / coupon code.
7. The process should be automated as much as possible in order to prevent manual efforts.

I found the auto coupon code generator plugin, but this does not allow for entering the voucher amount by the user as far as i can see it.

1. Any ideas how to set the voucher amount by the user using the amount code?
2. Are there further restrictions the requirements as stated above?

I would say that you cannot use Events Booking to handle this requirement. We created a plugin for our different extension called Payment Form to allow selling voucher for Events Booking. Basically, the way it works is:

1. Users access to the form, make payment (for certain payment amount, defined for the form or entered by user - depends on the form setup)

2. The system will create a voucher coupon in Events Booking and send it to the payer email

3. The payer can then use that voucher to register for the configured events

So if you want to sell voucher for Events Booking, I would suggest you to use our Payment Form extension for the task
