Hello Tuan

I am confused with EB_PAYMENT_STATUS string or field.

I have tested on-line payment thank to PayPal Sand Box. Very useful to understand how system is designed to work. However we do not use at all On-Line payment but off-line only.

To be sure that what I see is the texte associated with the field name for EB_PAYMENT_STATUS, I have made a language substitution for EB_PAYMENT_STATUS field name to indicate "EB_PAYMENT_STATUS (Original : Payment Status)"

Looking at backed management of participants, I can see the following choice for field named EB_PAYMENT_STATUS when payment is made via PayPal SandBox
1) EB_PAYMENT_STATUS (Original : Payment Status)
2) Partial payment
3) Full payment

Looking at backed management of participants, I can see the following choice for the field named EB_PAYMENT_STATUS when payment is made Offline
1) EB_PAYMENT_STATUS (Original : Payment Status)
2) Partial payment
3) Deposit
4) Full payment

I have therefore 3 questions
1) How comes that the name of the fields/string of characters is also a 'Payment Status" ? This is the name of a field, not a payment status choice.

2) This is an event with a deposit, I was expecting "Deposit" and not "Partial Payment"

3)How can I remove the choice "deposit" and the choice"EB_PAYMENT_STATUS (Original : Payment Status)" to have only two choices "Partial Payment" and "Full Payment"

Thanks for your help.

Hello Lionel

1=> Can you suggest a better string (you can change that translation anyway as you know)

2=> By default, there will only 2 statuses: Partial Payment and Full Payment. The Deposit status, actually should be called Deposit Paid is only available when you use offline payment. Here is the reason:

- At the time registrant register and choose deposit payment, it will have partial payment status
- Later, if he sends payment for that partial payment (you received payment), you can change the status to Deposit
- Then finally, when he makes full payment (maybe only when he comes to attend the event), you can change status to Full Payment

With that concept (my answer #2), hope it's clear the meaning of this Payment Status
