Custom Field value depending on Joomla Group Membership

Hi,

Is there a way to display/select a value in a Custom Field based on the Joomla group membership of the user?

For example, if a user is a member of the Joomla ABCMembers group and they are registering for an event, members (of the Joomla ABCMembers group) should be free while non-members are required to pay a fee. Based on their Joomla Group membership, the fee will either be displayed or not and added to their registration.

I think you can use Members Discount settings in each event, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...nt#discount-settings (look at screenshot for sample setup, each user groups can have certain discount amount)
