iCody app not working

We use Event Booking on a number of different sites and use the iCody app to scan in the attendees.

This was working fine just a couple of weeks ago but now the app just crashes when scanning the QR code.

Our IT department looks after the iPhones with the iCody app and they think they may have updated the phone OS to iOS 12.0.1.

The iCody app is running version 3.5.1.

And the version of Event Booking that generated the QR codes was 3.8.0.

Has anyone else had an issue with iCody recently?

It's really important for us to check people in, so we're having to do this manually at the moment, which is far from ideal.

I guess it happens because the icody APP is not compatible with latest version of IOS. Since the developer of that app seems ignored the development, we suggest you to use this android app play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joomdonation.ebscan

It's developed by an old staff from our company (he now changed his career to mobile app development)

The app has been tested by us and several customers, and it's working fine. So maybe it's time to switch from that icody APP to that new app

Unfortunately, we only have iPhone and iPads available in our environment.

Are you aware of any other iOS apps on the market? I did try another before opting for iCody but that didn't work correctly as far as a I remember.

I am sorry, I am not aware of any other iOS apps available for the market. So for now, I guess the best option would be finding and using an android mobile

Not yet, sorry. I don't have Mobile APP Development experience and could not develop the APP myself
