Cancellation email not in email log

Hello Tuan,

today I had to cancel a participant from one of my events, and I did it from the back-end.
The user has received the configured cancellation email, but the cancellation email does not appear in the back-end email log, where I have all of the emails sent to admins and participants.

Is this a normal behavior ?

I definitely would ask that all of the emails are logged, otherwise one woild be tempted to contact the user multiple times, without knowing that a notification had already been sent.

Hello Andrea

At the moment, we don't log that email. Only following emails are logged at the moment:

- Registration Emails
- Reminder Emails
- Mass Mail

I will see if I can support logging registration cancelled email in the next release

Hello Tuan, thank-you for your answer.
Yes, basically I think that the email log function should log *all* kinds of emails are sent. This is I think the purpose of an "email log". This way we administrators can be sure of what people receive, we can have a better control over what the extension does, and can intercept its functions much better.

It will take time for us to write code to able to log every kind of emails. At the moment, we only have the most important email types logged

Cancellation email could be the next email type we support logging. Give us sometime to work on it. I will inform you when it's implemented
