Visibility of Registration button was created by Alexandra Pooley
Hello,
We would like to show the Register button to the public (same as with the event information) but when clicking on the Registration button we would like the Registration access only to be available to existing users which means that the user will get an error if they are not logged in.
Currently the user sees the event but they do not see a Register button if they are not logged in and we are concerned that they will not realise that they need to login in order to register.
Do you have any experience with this?
Thank you

Hello Alexandra
Unfortunately, the extension does not work like that. You can set Registration Access parameter of the event to Registered and then buttons will only be displayed to Registered users after they logged in
We don't have an option to display button to Public but ask them to login to register for the event when the button is clicked
Maybe you can just add a message to description saying that Registration are only available after logged in to make it clear for your users about it. That's the only option for now
