Custom URL field was created by Paul Nout
Hello all,

I want to place a custom field URL, so a URL wil be displayed on the view=registrant form.
How can I do this with the URL field, where should I place the URL? Also I want to give it a popup class, is this possible?

Paul

Hi Paul

Exactly how it would be displayed? Do you have a sample?

Hi Paul

I still don't understand your question. However, maybe in that case, you should use Message custom field type

Just put the HTML code you want to display (it could be a tag) into Description setting of the field and the HTML code will be rendered

Maybe it can be used for you need?

That's what I needed...HTML placing in the field.
Thanks. But still don't know where the URL field is used for...

It's just used like standard Text field. The only difference is that when you enable that field, your registrants must enter a valid URL for the field, otherwise, web browser will mark the input as invalid
