Deprecated Authorize.net AIM was created by Spencer Williams
Hello,
With the deprecation of Authorize.net AIM and implementation of the alternative Authorize.net API, will there be an update in the future that will move from AIM to the API?
I bring this up because it seems the plugin now only recognizes true/false, it was either successful or it wasn't, but with the API there are alternate options such as "Registration under Review," as an example, I don't know what the exact wording is but it wouldn't tell the registrant the transaction failed when its actually under review. Since we have fraud detection set up via Authorize.net and some transactions must be reviewed and settled but the transaction is "successful." I would like to be able to edit the Registration Failed screen in the meantime. Is there a way to do that?
Thanks!
Chrystal

Hi Chrystal
Honestly, I won't have time to look at it very soon. If you want to see and edit these records, go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Show incomplete payment records config option to Yes
You will see the failed records and can edit it if needed

Thanks Tuan,
I currently have the configuration set to view incomplete payments and I'm able to settle the payments in Authorize.net and then mark it as payment complete and have been doing so. I understand it may be awhile for an update to the API and have no issues watching the registrations and manually updating.
But what I would like to be able to do is edit the Registration Failed screen that the registrants see. It currently says Registration Failed Reason: Failed but then has the success message from Authorize.net so its confusing to the registrants. I would like to edit the screen to say registration is complete and under review or something similar. I'm digging into files searching with no luck

Hi Chrystal
If you just want to change the text, you just need to go to Events Booking -> Translation, find the language item EB_REGISTRATION_FAILURE, EB_FAILURE_MESSAGE, EB_REASON and change it to meet your need
If you want to look at the code, the file is components/com_eventbooking/themes/default/failure/default.php (in older version, it's components/com_eventbooking/view/failure/tmpl/default.php
Regards,
Tuan
