Ho to remove a member from the Joomla Membership list

When a membership has expired Joomla still regards them as a member and will not allow them to rejoin at a later date using the same email address.

Currently I have set the plan in membership pro to revert expired members to guest status ,
But then if they try to rejoin they get a this email has been used error
how can I get the Joomla system to drop them off altogether so they can re join at a later date

Membership Pro does not have an option to remove user account when their subscription is expired

I also believe that you assign users to Guest user group when their subscription expired is not the right setup. When their subscription expired, they should still be in Registered user group so that they can login and renew their subscription if needed

If you prevent them to login, how can they login to renew their subscription?

Yes. It should work. There is no need to remove user account or assign them to Guest user group. Users should be allowed to your site any time they want, even your subscription expired
