Strange behaviour of the component translation was created by Andrea
Hello Tuan,
since I installed EB on my production machine, I have this behaviour, that I would like to correct:
- In the "Components" menu of Joomla, the component is in "English"
- In the "Dashboard", the icons are all in Italian.
Please see the picture where you see the menu in English and the dashbaord underneath, in Italian.
How is that possible, and how to make it all in Italian ?
Thanks!
Andrea.

Hi Andrea
I believe the issue happens because one language file is not translated. Please get this language file administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.sys.ini , rename it to it-IT.com_eventbooking.ini, do the translation, then upload it to administrator/language/it-IT folder on your site and it will work fine
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan, this would be great, but I need to warn you that mine is an heavily customised translation, and may not be good for others! The "administrator" part would be fine, but the "frontend" part has many items that are translated specifically for me.
Example: The "Group" ticket is changed into something like "wedding bedrooms" and things like that. It really is very specific to our business, so I'm afraid that others could compain that their sites have broken or that a new installation is too specific.
Just to make you aware!
Regards Andrea.

Oh, OK. Thanks Andrea
So I will only use your backend translation, not frontend
