Custom fields and coupon codes was created by Tom Nicholson
Hello,
Just another couple of quick questions from me.
Looking at inserting a new custom field, and there no longer seems to be an option under 'field assignment' to publish the field to "all events except selected", which is obviously a bit of a pain when trying to insert a field in all events except a small handful. I've recently enabled the shopping cart and this seems to have caused this. Is there any way around it? It'd be even better if it was possible to assign custom fields to categories of events rather than (or as well as) individual events - can this be done?
Is there any way for the custom fee field to take account of the group discount, or to operate as a percentage of the fee for that registrant rather than an absolute figure? I've set up one that provides a 100% discount for certain registrants, but if there's another registrant who isn't eligble for that discount, some of it is "carried over" to them anyway as the group discount added to the absolute figure in the custom fee field actually results in the first registrant effectively being charged a negative fee. (e.g. £4.50 per member, discounted to £4 per member if two or more are booked - custom fee field applies -4.5 if certain criteria are met, but this is greater than the fee charged per member if the group discount is also applied)
I'm also looking at ways of providing a coupon to provide a 100% discount on a single event only (for any number of registrants) as a "taster session". I want to limit this so that it can be used only once by each member, but is otherwise unlimited. Can this be done? I'm worried that someone will be able to book onto a whole series of events at once, and apply the coupon to the whole cart.
Any assistance greatly appreciated, as always

Hello Tom
1. You can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Assign Custom Fields to category instead of to events config option to Yes. After that, you will be able to assign custom fields to categories instead of to individual events as you want
2. Right now, we don't support fee value by percent. Fee value for each fee option can only be fixed amount
3. Right now, we don't have an option to limit a coupon to one usage per user. I will see if I can support for it in the future
