Same coupon codes

Hi there
i've noticed that it's possible to create coupon codes with the same code...

How to fix it?

I need to create codes just one time, It will better if the system won’t allow same code coupon.

Currently, the system doesn't validate the coupon code and require it's unique. So for now, when you create coupon code, please monitor and make sure it's unique yourself (can try to search for the coupon code)

I will monitor customers request. If there are more customers need this option. I will implement support for it in the future

So far, in few years, it seems this is the first time I hear about this request

I've always thought it should have some type of validation, but as you suggested I've always done a search for the code first. It would be a welcome addition if you implemented it.
