Email tag bug

When using [event_link] it gives an administration url instead of the frontend url. Is this intended or is there a way I can include the actual event url?

It should not be administrator url. It should be a frontend URL

Could you please let me know where you are using this tag and what version of the extension you are using (Please make sure you are using latest version) so that I can check and get back to you

I'm using 3.6.0 and the tag is in the 'Submit Event Email Messages' template section. To the best of my knowledge it has always given the admin link sent to the admin email but a user only just notified me of the member email confirmation is also directing to admin.

At the moment, the [EVENT_LINK] tag is the link to edit event page from administrator area of your site only, not the link to frontend editing page of that event

However, it makes sense to have it works like that and I will work on it in the next one week (I'm sick at the moment and it will take 5 to 7 days to get recovered).
