Some way to do searching by CITY? was created by Mick Graham
In my website I will probably only be using 3 or 4 Cities for the Events and I want a method so that users can choose a city.
I was trying to find some way of adding a custom field so that users can select by either of the cities and I can certainly add an extra field but it doesn't show the event if I do a search. Ideally I would like a module that showed the Cities so that the customer can choose one and see the events. I would have thought this would be standard in the program but it is beating me trying to find a workaround.

Has anyone successfully managed to do something like this?

Hello,
I guess "Search by location" is supported since the recent updates, but I haven't checked myself yet.

Edit 1: This is supported since version 3.5.3: www.joomdonation.com/forum/events-bookin...released.html#114673

Edit 2: Maybe you should enable and use the module mod_eb_cities (Events Booking - Events By City) to achieve your request.

Sincerely,
Leon

Yes, that's correct.

1. Enable Events Booking - Events By City module

2. Now, go to Events Booking -> Locations, edit location and enter City data for that locations

3. Assign your events to locations

4. Now, Events Booking - Events By City will display list of cities. Users can then click on a CIty to see all events from that city

Regards,

Tuan

Hi Mick

You can submit a support ticket and we will help check the settings to see why you cannot enter City for each location
