Allowing PayPal paid registrations to remain Pending

We just realized that with our conference registrations (which are live) we have a bit of an urgent problem.

We need to be able to toggle the PayPal plugin to not automatically assign Paid status, even though they've submitted a payment. I realize that in 95% of cases folks will want this to work as it already does. In our case, all registrations are subject to eligibility verification (whether they've picked the right package, discounts, etc) and we don't want to issue them tickets until we're sure they've paid the correct amount. However, if they pay with PayPal they're automatically marked Paid and tickets issued before we get to do this check.

The offline payment plugin is beautiful for letting us have this pending step. Could this also be added to PayPal relatively quickly? We're going to be fielding dozens of registrations in the next three weeks and my finance folks are freaking out about the automatic approvals.

If am unsure if it works. However, you can get this modified PayPal payment plugin, go to Events Booking -> Payment Plugins, install, then test it. After that, the status of the record will remain Pending after payment completed

By default, Events Booking won't show these records. So you have to go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Show incomplete payment records config option to Yes to have these records shown
