os_paypal forcing people to create a PayPal account

I would like to use the os_paypal payment plugin.

People from Europe (Switzerland) can not make a payment without signing up for a PayPal account, so they would be forced to open an account. Not so in other countries as in Australia.

Are you aware of this? Can this be changed somehow, not everybody wants to have a PayPal account.

Unfortunately, this is all handled by PayPal and we have no way to change it

If it is not success, then I am afraid of PayPal creating users in your country and we could not change the behavior

I did some investigating with PayPal and found out that PayPal REALLY does force people in Switzerland to sign up for a PayPal account if they want to pay with a credit card.

I thought this might be a valuable information for others in this forum.
